Hide And Seek

Last week we were in Hastings with some of the family. You can see my little  watercolour of the garden which I did early in the morning, on my latest Instagram and Facebook posts.

The Duke of Wellington had his HQ in the building next to our holiday house. History relates that he once hid in our garden but does not say who from. Could it be  a lady or unruly soldiers?!
