Objects Used in Paintings

Many of the paintings use objects as their starting point which have either been in the possession of the Coney family for many years (for example: Morris Minor, grandmother’s quizzer etc.) or specially commissioned to use in a painting (Mr Turnip).

Art Installations

Sometimes the objects become installations in their own right to be seen alongside the painting of the same name (for example the five holiday suitcases in ‘Forget-Me-Nots’, the labyrinth of mirrors in ‘Davids Journey’).
