When The Saints

While in Lille last week, I made two sketches of saints (both painted by Rubens). I admit it was nice to sit down but I really liked the poises of the two figures I saw in front of me.

I might use them in a painting I am planning to do at some stage, about my brother and me. I’ll probably have to be the plump one.
