Take a peek around Ely artist Ted Coney’s home

A doomed love affair is the inspiration behind Ely artist Ted Coney’s latest painting.

The painting, called ‘The Rashomon Effect’, is about a love affair from over a hundred years ago – and its subsequent effect on his family.

Ted runs Ted Coney’s Family Portraits from his home in Ely’s Waterside and has been opening it to visitors for the past six seasons.

All his paintings take the theme of family life and relationships.

Bookings are now been taken for the last four tours on Sundays, November 23 and 30, and December 7 and 14.
