Sheringham Again!
We’ve just been on our annual holiday to Sheringham, Norfolk, staying in the same place for the last forty five years!
St Lukes Cottage is an old fisherman’s cottage close to the beach and seems like a time warp stuck in the 1950s, inside. There is no shower but luckily many of our relations are in rented accommodation close bye so it is not a problem. Our children and grandchildren seem to like the bath anyway.
This year there were 36 members of the family in the town when we gathered for dinner on the Saturday night.
I only managed a little watercolour sketch of the front of the cottage (which you can see on my latest Facebook, Instagram and Bluesky posts) by getting up early on a couple of mornings.
