Postscript

I was interested to see that when one of the staff at the Norris Museum re-created one of the images in my painting ‘Limners’ recently, they made a slight change.

One of the thirty seven  images which make up the painting, was of my son Leo’s game (who was about four at the time) with our nativity scene which we put out each Christmas. He had crashed his toy car into Mary and knocked her over.

In the exhibition at the Norris they set up a display cabinet next to my painting and used the same nativity figures. However, this time the accident occurred to baby Jesus!

You can see it all on my latest Facebook and Instagram posts.
