Onwards And Upwards

I’m trying to get back to painting every day, now that my exhibition at the Norris Museum has finished.

I’m currently working on my latest painting OLD WIVES TALES (you can see the first stages on the NEWS page on my website). For Father’s Day, my daughter bought me a beautiful miniature step ladder  (see photo on my latest Facebook and Instagram posts) which I’m going to start drawing from, soon.

It will need a few more rungs in the drawing as it’s going to be one of the ‘clues’ in the final picture. I want to give the impression that the ladder wasn’t quiet tall enough to make an escape from the second floor window.
