No More Twist

All my paintings and objects came back last week from the Norris Museum after the end of the three month exhibition.

Except one! I realised, after checking off all the objects that a very small figurine of the TV character ‘Mr Turnip’ was missing. Although probably not worth much, because it was made of metal in the 1950s it would be quite difficult to replace. Mr Turnip was a childhood hero of mine and I used him in two paintings exhibited at the Norris – ‘Diamonds’ and ‘The Enigma of the Chinese Mask’.

A message soon came back from the Norris that he had been found. Infact he had been delivered with everything else. It seems that, as he was the size of half a pencil and  wrapped in a small twist of bubble wrap I had not noticed him at the side of the crate.

You can see him on my latest Instagram and Facebook posts.
