While waiting for paint to dry on my current project, I ‘ve been making drawings of my ‘machines’ for the next painting ‘Forged In Life’. (see my latest Instagram, Facebook and Bluesky posts)

The Magic Lantern, 1930s movie projector, swing boats model etc all had to be powered with something over the years. I’m sure I’ve used other things which were much worse for the environment, but these objects are more interesting shapes to use in the painting about climate change.
