Just Say No

I got a phone call from a gallery the other day, inviting me to put a piece of work in their upcoming exhibition. The theme was Summer – with bright, happy colours.

I did laugh, as apart from taking part in the ‘Artists At Home’ scheme next month anyway, the theme of my latest painting ‘Time Frames’ is all about the inconvenience of death . It hardly fits in.
