Help!

Our local art gallery here in Ely, is under threat. The Babylon Gallery has been in existence for thirty years but since its core funding was removed by the District Council it has always been hard work to raise enough money to keep it going.

I should know, because I have been a Trustee and gallery volunteer for over twelve years. Babylon Arts has always been very good at winning grants for various projects but it is that steady flow of finances we need to keep the lights on.

We are writing to all local councils in the area for help to save this vital asset to Ely both for its residents (artists and viewers) and in its role as a tourist attraction.

You can help by lobbying your local MP, Ely City Council and East Cambridgeshire District Council
