Fabric Painting

A while ago I visited the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge and was inspired by the still life artist, Jan De Heem and his wonderful paintings, especially of fabric.

A major challenge in my latest painting ‘Forged In Life’ is the rendering of copes, so I am keeping images of his work  close so I can use them as reference.
