What Shall We Get Him?

An easy answer as far as my family are concerned – get him something for the dolls house!

I’ve had the house since 2000 when my wife bought it  to research for my painting ‘Fools Gold’. This was so I could look into the structure from many angles, a thing you couldn’t do with a real house.

I’ve used it as recently as 2024 for the painting ‘Old Wives Tales’ where I made drawings  from each side and picked out objects to tell the story.

This Christmas my niece gave me a miniature easel, artists palette and drawing board and I’ve yet to decide were to place them
