Time Frame

I’ve recently started putting down ideas for my next painting, onto paper. (see my latest Instagram and Facebook posts) The working title is ‘Time Frame’, though this could change as the idea progresses. It’s about the inconvenience of death and funerals through some of the events that have occurred to my family .

I was originally going to use the format of a film strip to portray it but after seeing the van Eyck painting in Ghent I’ve become interested in the formation of the twelve frames which make up this picture.
