Through The Glass

My wife was photographing some natural objects through an old dimpled bottle she had found. It reminded me of objects submerged in water.

In my next painting, ‘Forged In Life’, the donkey boiler and the swing boats  gradually sink into the floods, so I thought it might be interesting to see what would happen if I photographed them the same way.

In the end, I photographed the drawings being distorted rather than the actual objects as they seemed  clearer. You can see my efforts on my latest Instagram, Facebook and Bluesky posts.
