Ted demonstrates painting at Tindalls
Ely artist Ted Coney demonstrates different methods of painting water at Tindalls, in Ely, on Saturday from 10am-5pm.
He will work in oil paint and use tissue, cotton buds, bits of sponge, his fingers and brushes to produce rough and calm water.
Ted is currently working on his latest painting called ‘If The Boats Come In’, which is about 30 members of his family gathering at Sheringham boating pond for their annual model yacht race.
He said: “The painting poses the question ‘will all of them get there, this year?’ So calm and rough water is a very important part of the picture.”
As well as doing this demonstration, Ted will open his pop-up gallery on some Sundays during the next few months.
