Ted Coney’s Family Portraits 2010

Ted Coney’s Family Portraits gallery, museum and open studio has re-opened for the 2010 season.

Based at 49 Waterside in Ely, which is also Mr Coney’s family home, the gallery contains more than 35 years of Mr Coney’s work which is based around his family life.

Mr Coney was previously head of art and design at Hills Road Sixth Form College, Cambridge.

There are eight specific themed journeys around the house. For a £3 admission fee visitors can choose which 30 minute tour they want to go on, accompanied by Mr Coney who will interpret the paintings. The Gallery is open on Sunday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm until the end of November and from 2pm-3pm on Saturday afternoons in July and August.
