Seal of Approval

For my birthday I received some sealing wax and a  metal stamp with a rabbit symbol engraved on it. After some experimenting I was able to make a convincing seal with bright red wax.

This might be used in my next work, stamping the seal onto the canvas so that it stands in low relief.

Why a rabbit? Well, my name Coney means rabbit and has been used since biblical times – ‘and the coneys shall go to their holes’.

At some point I also need to obtain a lion stamp, but thats another story.
