Plotting And Planning

I’ve been doing some planning for my next painting ‘Forged in Life’ which I hope to complete in 2026. Although I have already made some observational drawings of the objects I intend to use, I also took photos  so I could have photocopies at different sizes.

These proved very useful when I started to plot out the composition of the two canvases. Although the final paintings will be highly distorted by the effects of climate change, these cutouts proved a useful starting point.
