Not In My Team
Last July I applied to Bristol Museum about a possible exhibition in the future – well you have to try these things!
I got an encouraging letter back with a long list of questions to answer and images to send. It took time to compile and I got an Email to say I would hear from them eventually.
In late November I suddenly got a message asking me to join them on a ‘Teams’ meeting in the next couple of hours! I had never heard of Teams and started to panic. Luckily Hazel’s sister was staying and she helped me put it on my phone.
However I never had time to prepare or look back at the answers I had given many months before. There was a panel of about 8-10 people so everyone looked the size of a pinhead and I knew I had performed very badly.
A couple of weeks later I received a lovely long Email telling me why I didn’t get the gig , but were polite enough not to mention the mad old idiot they had just interviewed.
