No sales but the cash flows in
It’s hard enough to raise a healthy sum of money by selling paintings, so Ted Coney of Woollards Lane, Great Shelford, must be delighted with the £135 he raised from an exhibition of his work in his home – without selling a single work!
Ted, who is an art lecturer at Hills Road Sixth Form College, put on a show of “Family Portraits” and the money, for the Save The Children Fund, came from the sales of catalogues and admission fees from nearly 200 visitors.
