Happy Families ?

We were teaching our grandson how to play the Happy Families card game recently. This seemed a good moment to show him my painting of the same name which I created in 1984. He seemed mildly interested!

The painting was created soon after the death of the wife of one brother and the divorce of the other. I show this in the work by taking their cards out of the game. You can see this in the close up of the painting in my latest Instagram, Bluesky and Facebook posts.
