Experiments Are Over – For Now

I’ve continued to experiment with cold wax and oils on small cavasses in readiness to starting my current painting ‘Forged In Life’.

I’ve even been  floating strips of newspaper in the wax. I am aiming to get across that its all words while climate change gets ever more serious.

The time had come for me to start the final painting otherwise I shall be experimenting for ever! It doesn’t mean that I have it all sorted – far from it, but I know how to begin. Later I will probably have to do some more try -outs, especially if I don’t like the way the painting is going or I have a better idea to solve the problem .

It’s all part of the journey.
