Ted Coney will open his studio and garden gallery at Waterside in Ely as part of the Cambridge Open Studio weekends in July.
Mr Coney, known for weaving family stories into his paintings, will display some new work alongside familiar pieces using Ely landmarks.
For example, his painting ‘Who Stole the Toothpaste?’ draws on sketches made in Ely courthouse and features Mr Toad as representation of his own family hsitory.
His work will also feature in the final show at the Babylon Gallery.
Ted also has two painings in the Open Studio Tester exhibition in the last-ever show at the Babylon Gallery and is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the month.
