Brothers

While I continue to work on my current painting ‘Time Frames’, I’m also making a start on ideas for my next painting as well!

It’s about my brother, David and me and was inspired by the Donkey Boiler he made me several years ago. I rather selfishly complained that it didn’t do much on its own so he fixed it to a toy swing boat roundabout so that it could be driven around by the steam.

I’ve been making some drawings of it which you can see on my latest Facebook and Instagram posts.

I’m thinking that one element reflexes his personality, while the other part is me. What do you think?
