Back To The Drawingboard

I’m still doing lots of experiments before starting my latest painting ‘ Forged in Life’.

On a couple of small cavasses I’ve tried painting the objects  which represent the two brothers (the donkey boiler and the swing boats) as they dissolve into the oncoming floods, but without success. They became too distorted and you couldn’t really see what they were.

I’ve now gone back to my sketchbook and am  drawing them out, before I can carried away with paint and cold wax.
