Making Ely Safer for all road users

Your local Lib Dems are committed to safety for all road users including ensuring that safety features are installed, safe crosssing places built, speed limits are lowered in built up areas and enforcement of parking restrictions.

When a slip-up over a planning requirement resulted in a blind entrance which posed a threat to pedestrians and cyclists, concerned resident Ted Coney contacted his local Lib Dems who worked with the Couty Council to resolve the error.

Cllr Mary Wade said, “It is good to see safety measures have been put in place. This and other road safety initiatives show our commitment to residents.”
