Ted Coney's Family Portraits is a pop-up gallery which opens on Sunday afternoons and other times by appointment.

Original Oil Paintings

A group of over forty original paintings, produced by artist, Ted Coney on the theme of family life and family relationships. Most of the original oil paintings are on canvas, though there are some examples of painting on glass, wood and Ivorene.

Ted Coney Artist And Teacher

Ted Coney has been painting for forty years Ted Coney's Ely Gallery and was Head of Art and Design at Hills Road Sixth Form College, Cambridge for over thirty.

His work has often appeared in mixed shows and open studios but this is the first time that all his work has been exhibited together.

Situated on Waterside in the historic city of Ely, Cambridgeshire, is the home of Ted and Hazel Coney, a 300 year old cottage (grade 2 listed building) close to the River Ouse. Ely boasts a world famous cathedral as well as good spread of museums, galleries, shops and interesting places to eat!
